Thai Currency

The Thai currency is the Bhat (THB).

Thai bhat are divided further into satang. One Thai bhat is equal to 100 satang.

Thai bhat coins come in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50.

Visitors are unlikely to use them, as they are worth very little.

Thai bhat notes come in denominations of 10 (very rare), 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000.

Visitors are most likely to use Thai currency notes.

You can get Thai currency at ATMs in the country, or at money exchange booths in your home country or in Thailand.
